Each Pier Pointe condominium resident is guaranteed a private parking garage, and there is also a copious amount of extra parking spaces for additional cars or guests. Through the homeowners’ association fees, utilities such as cable television, trash, water and earthquake and flood insurance. Excellent amenities are also included in the fees, and include the community pool and spa, tennis court and clubhouse. Along with the outdoor amenities, there are also picnic barbeques located throughout the various greenbelts in the complex, so hosting and socializing are easy and fun to do at Pier Pointe.

Pier Pointe Condo Price Analysis


The homes in Pier Pointe range between $330,000 and $450,000, and varies based on the square footage and remodeling work done on each condominium. With the average home price in Huntington Beach listing at over $1 million, these condos are listed approximately 60% lower. Similar-styled condos in Huntington Beach list about 3% higher than the homes at Pier Pointe. This may be due to the fact that the square footage is a little lower than average, and while conveniently located, Pier Pointe is still a bit of a drive down Main Street to downtown and the beach.

Living in Pier Pointe Condos


The Pier Pointe Condos are conveniently located near plenty of shopping centers. Directly east is 5 Points Plaza, a shopping center that consists of several retail stores (for example, Bath & Body Works, GAP, Pier 1 Imports), a Trader Joe’s and a Yogurtland. There is also a patio used solely for dogs. To the north and across from Main Street is the Seacliff Village Shopping Center. Consisting of an Albertsons, a Staples, a PetSmart and Chipotle and Starbucks, you can find just about anything you need right across the street.

There are also many outdoor activities to partake in nearby! With Huntington Beach Central Park in close proximity, be sure to check out their fire rings, picnic facilities, playgrounds, Frisbee golf and fishing in the Huntington and Talbert Lakes. If you’re interested in horseback riding, the Central Park Equestrian Center is an excellent choice as it is compiled of over 150 acres of equestrian trails. For those with dogs, a dog park is also located in Central Park—enjoy separate sections for small dogs and puppies, dog treats and the dog walk hall of fame. Be sure to stop at one of the three restaurants located throughout the park: Kathy May’s Lakeview Café, Park Bench Café (which is dog-friendly!) and HB Outdoor BBQ and Snacks. Looking for something a little smaller? The Peter Green Park is in close proximity to Pier Pointe and has fun amenities to partake in such as sand volleyball, basketball, several playgrounds and picnic tables. If you want to play a round of golf, the Seacliff Country Club is conveniently located nearby, where the greenway lays over rolling hills. Membership includes access to the course, swimming pool, clubhouse and fine dining restaurants.

Assigned schools include the Joseph R. Perry Elementary School, Fulton Middle School Huntington Beach High School. Joseph R. Perry Elementary lands at six out of ten on the API school rating scale, and has about equal testing scores to the state average. Achieving a perfect ten on the API scale is Fulton Middle School, with English and math proficiency tests scoring at 81% and 71%, respectively.

Huntington Beach High School received a nine out of ten on the API rating system and is a California Distinguished School. Students rank far higher than the state average in English and math proficiency. The high school has a 99% graduation rate, far above the state average of 81%. Of that number, 67% are eligible to attend a university in the CSU or CU system, compared to the state average of 42%. The school is also the host campus for the audition-only magnet art’s program, the Academy for the Performing Arts school (APA). Available programs to study at APA consist of acting, costume design, dance, dramatic production, MMET Media, MMET Popular Music, musical theatre, orchestra and technical theatre. A wide array of sports of are offered at Huntington Beach High School, including volleyball, tennis, golf, football, field hockey, basketball, soccer, baseball, swimming, softball, track and surfing—in fact, Huntington Beach was the first school to ever have a Varsity surf team.

Pros and Cons of Pier Pointe Condos


The Pier Pointe Condos are conveniently located directly down Main Street. There is plenty of access to shopping, grocery stores, casual dining restaurants and parks. Within the gates, there are many excellent amenities, including the pool, spa, clubhouse and tennis courts. Prices are also lower than similar condominiums. Along with the lower price point also comes lesser square footage, although the floorplans are elegantly constructed to appear to have more room than there is.

Who are Pier Pointe Condos best for?


For those who enjoy a quiet home life, but also want the convenience for access to nightlight and fine dining, the Pier Pointe condos will be a nice fit. These condos are an excellent option as a starter home. The median age within the neighborhood is 30 years old, so neighbors are more likely to be of a younger age group.
